Hey all,

I am very sad to say that I am getting out of the hobby. I have a siganus doliatus, aka scribbled rabbitfish that I need to find a good home for very quickly. I am ashamed to admit that she isn't in perfect health because I don't have the time anymore to properly take care of my tank. She was properly QT'd when I bought her, has a wonderful personality, and has shown absolutely no signs of disease other than the beginning HLLE. It hasn't spread too far, and I know that with some TLC that she would heal very quickly. I also have a spotted mandarin also free to a good home. The mandarin is a bit skinny, but does eat frozen mysis.

I do have some corals for sale. All need just a little bit of TLC, but are very hardy and viable.

Pom Pom xenia (nice size, but not too big, very healthy) 10.00
large colony of zoanthids, brown w/ blue middles and orange centers- 15.00
Small colony of "dragon eye" zoanthids, approx 19 polyps, yellow w/ orange centers-15.00
brown zoanthids-free to good home
zoanthids blue w/green centers, 11 polyps, needs more light than I could provide so they aren't showing their true colors -15.00
Mated pair of cleaner shrimp, both produce eggs-10.00

Tank has been sold and is leaving my house tommrow,
sept.9.
I need to have this livestock leave as soon as possible, so it is local pickup only. If interested, please PM me and be prepared to run out of your house with a bucket for transport. :0)

Thanks all!

I could really use the spotted mandarin if it is still available. I have been looking for them everywhere and nobody has had them for the last month or so.

pm sent.

I've gotten several PM's and I do have someone coming over tonight to take a peek. If this person doesn't take everything, I'll PM the next person in order. So thank you to those that responded, and thanks to all in general. I'll keep recommending this site to others in the hobby and if I ever get back in it, I hope reef central is still around. :)

Sorry, nynex and everyone else, lifeworksataol took everything.

lifeworksataol,
I am glad to hear that everything is going well so far. She was very loved by my family and I hope that she does as well for you. Thank you for being so understanding about everything, it was really, really hard to break down the tank this morning and watch everything go.

Here's a good pic of her, when she was thriving...just to give you an idea of the colors she displayed.

she looks great already and eating very well right out of my hand - all the corals colors came out well - very happy with everything - thanks again

Just remember, lots of algae for that guy...they are herbivores and although will eat meaty foods, gain their energy from plants.

Yep, she's always been a pig. I'm glad to hear she's eating out of your hand! I hand fed her very often, just for the fun of it. :)
I'm also very happy to hear the corals are doing well.
