Tank Tinkerer
Okay, I'm a week away from dumping all of the extra crap (equipment) I've accumulated in the last 2.5 years on the curb or donating it to Goodwill, so before I do that, I want to give you all a chance to pick up some FREE stuff.

The last of the movers have taken all of the furniture out of the house in Doral (NW 102nd Ave and NW 52nd Street) so now I can spread EVERYTHING out on the carpet next to the aquarium and take some pictures tonight.

I won't be able to watch the threads here for "I've got dibs PMs" so it's first come, first served and I can't hold anything for anyone. I'm sorry that sucks, but with the wife nagging me to get rid of all the crap and the office job 8-5 every day Monday-Friday, taking care of the "who wants what" thing is impossible.

I will leave the office each day this week around 4 to 4:30 pm, go to the empty house where the aquariums and equipment are, work on the "Goodwill" boxes that the movers didn't take and then I'll drive back to Fort Lauderdale to Commercial Blvd/Bayview Drive. I can bring equipment with me to Ft. Laud, if you call ahead. Work: 305-437-3819 (cell off from 8 am to 4 pm, Mon-Fri) Cell: 954-232-4821

Here we go:
Guessing on diameters, will measure with tape measure tonight.
1 - 1/2 inch OD PVC piping. 2 sections about 3 feet long.
2 - 1/2 inch OD PVC. One piece about 6 feet long
3 - 1 inch OD PVC. One piece about 8-10 feet long.
4 - Used Filter Socks.
5 - 2 small pumps, no bigger than my fist. Great as powerheads on small tanks or water movers in bucket with live rock.
6 - 2 HOB square canister type filters. Heads (with the pump) are 2-3 inches tall and the hollow body is 4-5 inches long
7 - Unused Filter Floss about 2/3rds of an $8 roll from Exotic Aquariums
8 - Slightly used nitrate, nitrite and phoshate test kits
9 - NOT FREE: 9 gallon Reef Savvy Starbite glass on 3 sides empty, unused tank with black back and internal overflow. Can be drilled, if you desire. NOT FREE: $100
10 - Unused Bulk Reef Supply GFO. I thought it was a 1 gallon container, but I'll check at 4:30 pm today. Half full. Paid $65 new, asking $30
11 - Tons of other stuff
12 - Unused GAC. Will have to look. I have a box from one company and some from Bulk Reef Supply.
13 - Clear plastic tubing of all sizes.
14 - Dry rock rubble (tons) - free
15 - Live rock pieces about as big as my hand to three times the size of my hand - free
16 - Heaters - I have 5 from a 50 watt to a 300 watt. Let me know if you want any and I'll post the names, wattages and prices. Two are brand new in box (BNIB) and 3 are used.
17 - 2 X used 10 gallon aquarium (one holds the damsel and pistol/shrimp/goby and the second is used as the sump - free, will be available by Sat/Sun
18 - Plastic meshing that I bought to make a turf scrubber and didn't use. Holes are about 1 mm squares. Sheet is about 9 x 12 inches.
19 - Free Brown and Green Palys. You can have the Palys, but you have to take some other piece of equipment for free. The green ones have about 25 heads and the brown ones have 4-6.
20 - Mushrooms - one blue one came off the rock of blue and one red one is unattached.
21 - Red Scarlet Shrimp - $20
22 - Free Hermit crabs
23 - Free Pyramid-shaped snails
24 - FREE Purplish-Pink Pulsating Xenia (how's that for an alliteration)
25 - Bio balls
26 - and TONS of more stuff, which is too much to list here

Just come by and take a look. You won't be out anything, except maybe the time it takes to get there.

Chuck I hope people come by the boatloads, very rare for people to give you a smile for free let alone stuff.. Hope you get some money back in your pocket too.

I have sold the GFO, and some of the live rock rubble. Dry Rock rubble still available.

The following fish are taken: Lemonpeel Angel, Coral Beauty, 2 X Pajama Cardinals, the Twin Spot Coris Wrasse, the Engineer Goby and the Pistol Shrimp/mated Goby.

The Cleaner Shrimp are sold and the "Pipe Organ" coral is taken.

Still LOTS of FREE stuff sitting around.

I have to leave work early to go get more water so I can take more rock out and THEN the daughter lands at the FLL airport at 6 pm AND the wife and I drove together today, so if someone wants to go by the house, it has to be before 4:45 pm today.

I will be available on Thursday from 4 til 8 pm in Doral and then I'm driving the requested fish to Ft. Laud.

Yellow tang still for sale.
