Free TDS meter

I'm in Indy till Sun, but I did get a shipped email before leaving TN. Hopefully it will be there when I get home.

I received my TDS meter yesterday as well...

It reads that my tap water is 047 - which is pretty darn good from what i know. Usually tap water is between 150 and 400 somewhere...

Yeah, mine was pretty close to that as well......that's why I am wondering if it's accurate.
I haven't tried the distilled water yet to 'test' it.

It's just hard for me to believe our tap water is measuring the same numbers as bottled spring water.

If you're from this area, you don't realize just how bad our tap water tastes. I'm from the Memphis area, and the water is so soft and tastes like any bottled water you can buy.

When I first moved here, I remember how adding ice to my tea ruined the taste of the tea. I'm used to it now and can't taste the difference as much.

Here in Rutherford county my tap has been as low as 180 and as high as 600. Normally its around 300.
I'm about 1/2 a mile from the treatment plant on priest.

Ive run an RO only (before the DI) line into the kitchen for ice and drinking. We never drink the water here, dont even give it to the dogs, cats or birds.
