Free to a good Home....

In the same line as people who have helped me in this hobby, here are two anemones free to a good home:

1) Rock Flower Anemone.
Very healthy, growing and a good tank citizen. Rock flower anemones do not move around and so make perfect reef anemones. The rock it is attached to is also covered in sponges of different types - last count 4 types and lots of beneficial worms.
There is also some Xenia on the side of the rock as a bonus.

2) Bubble tip anemone.
A fast growing Bubble tip anemone that is the mother anemone of my smaller clone. She is beautiful and doesnt move much - she just happens to like a spot next to some SPS corals of mine.

She is about twice as large as this pic now:

Let me know if you are interested in either one of them - I would like them to go to stable environments, thanks!

Please post in the thread so it is easier to track the responses.

First person for the BTA is CamZ28.

Just FYI, my BTAs are fast growers - I got them from a well respected RC member Zenya who taught be a lot about anemones in just a few shourt hours at his house.
They also split very easily if well fed with silversides a few times a week.

CamZ28 already has dibs on the BTA, you can have the Rock Flower Anemone.
I don't have to get rid of them right away, I would just like them to go to stable well established environments.

Opie, that's very nice of you. If I ever get a reef tank going I plan on giving away frags.

If you are giving away an slk55 amg send me a pm!

Thanks Charlie!

I just started driving my AMG again since the weather has been soooo cold. Even the heated airscarf can't go up against 30F weather, however once it is above 35F, it's fair game for top down driving!! :D

I am iin Hawthorne and can pick up the rock flower tomorrow

Thanks it a great offer. Do you need a red sea prosm HOB skimmer or a really nice stand/canopy for an AGA 37-55 gal tank?

Tompg, if opie doesn't want the stand is it up for sale? My current 55g All-Glass stand doesn't allow me to have a sump.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

I also have a lage rock covered in green star polyps if anyone would like it. Someone gave me a piece for free at an NJRC meeting and I'd like to keep it going around too. :)

As for the pics, I can always do a bit of coaching but as Kelly will tell you good equipment makes a helluva difference!
I usually work with my Canon 20D, Tamron 28-75/2.8 lens or preferably when shooting Macro shots, my Canon 100/2.8 USM lens.

There are cheaper ways to get there, but if you have an SLR camera, the Cannon 100/2.8 is the way to go.

I'll take it.

I just bought this used tank setup that came with the lights below. Would that be enough lighting?

2 x 55 watt Power compact atenics with independent ballast & switch.

2 x 55 watt Power compact daylights with independent ballast & switch.
