I placed a ordered on a group buy, and do to my circumstances I will not be needing them, nor will I be able to pick them up. The order comes in Tuesday (today) in Crystal lake. They are all paid for already.
50 Astrea snails
100 Cerith snails
50 blue leg hermits
6 Emerald crabs

You guys should be ashamed...so I'm gonna jump in here...Obviously larry is in a pinch and is selling everything....so there will be no freebies...I am picking up my order and from John here in a little, i will buy part of the order and others can as well...then john is paypal'ing the money back to larry....its the only fair thing to do to someone having some rough times.

It never ceases to amaze me how fast you snatch up the free stuff. What was this one three minutes? You even drove over an hour to get a free brain coral from someone that lives only five minutes away from me, then ostracized me for replying to his thread after you. There's no room to criticize Jeni here? Someone made an offer, she accepted it. So, she's quick on the draw, so what. Had I seen the post first, I would of done the same espically since I wasn't aware that the tank breakdown was related to personal difficulties (which would explain why I wouldn't of been "ashamed" either). Someone types the word "FREE," we're ALL all over it, because there's usually only seconds before someone else takes it. Other reefers and I have even joked about who got to it in less time. What are we supposed to do?

"Hmmm, there's something I need or want for free. I've recived a few things free already. I think I'll sit back and give someone else an opportunity" Although this concept is great for a story line from "Leave it to Beaver" it has no base in reality.

Lastly, there's a great saying that you may want to consider"
"Criticize in private and praise in public"
Not doing so will have people loose respect for you!

Well it appears she is picking up larry's order...I think john, myself and a few others are going to chip in and refund his money, so Jeni, you're welcome for the "free" clean-up crew. If you had any class you would step up and pay for what you got for free and help out a reefer down on his luck.

This is not the public sale forum, this is a reef club forum. We are supposed to be helping each other out, not seeing who can be the first one to get the most free stuff. I'm not saying we shouldn't take advantage of someone's generosity, I'm saying she is ALWAYS one of, if not THE first person to grab and run. I can think of at least three threads off the top of my head that she jumped all over. Lose respect for me if you will, but I've been watching this greedy attitude spread lately and I'll call anyone out on it.
