fresh mixed water cloudy

Hi guys
I mixed up 20g of ro and reef crystals the other day and it has not fully cleared for some reason. Only thing I did any different than usual was heating up the ro before adding salt. Should I use it or dump it?

The water probably is okay. You could check the alkalinity level. If that's fine, I wouldn't worry much.

Hot saltwater is more likely to precipitate calcium carbonate than cold water, which might explain the cloudiness.

I pointed the power head at the surface to agitate the water and it seems to have cleared up now. I do notice a brown residue in the mix bucket that I have not seen before. Might just cut my losses and dump this batch.

I always get the brown residue too. No need to dump it.
