I have never used this site before so I dont even know if they are a good source for fish but I stumbled upon it and they have the "expensive" purple firefish for sale instock for 131.00 I think this is a good price I just wanted to share.

It is the helfricki that is why I said expensive firefish. I have seen it previously for 200 and I thought 130 is a good deal so I decided to share it with yall.

I just got done looking at their site and found something that really surprised me. The picture they used for the green bubble coral came from my tank!

I can't find the exact photo that they nabbed it from but here is what I did find:

I'll try to find the exact pic that they nabbed it from. I have no doubt that it was taken from my tank though. I do find it somewhat amusing that they put a watermark on it!

Thats messed up stuff aquabucket LOL, they stole from ya! I can see for 100% sure that those pictures were taken from the same tank...


Now that i look over the site something tells me that alot of those pictures were stolen.

Actually I got a kick out of it. It was a nice surprise to see my coral being used as a reference. I really never saw any commercial value in my pics or intend to make money from them.

Haha, still it's kinda funny. I wouldn't personally care. However, I would seriously question the quality of their livestock when they aren't capable of taking their own pictures. I think they likely stole from you because: A. Their livestock doesn't look quite as good as yours does. and B. They figure that stealing from some anonymous hobbiest won't come back at them like stealing from a reputed source (say an online publication) would.

Its kind of funny, becuase most hobbyists would gladly authorize use of their pics for free....if they were just asked. Ive given a few to people who have asked,not that Im any good...but ive gotten a few lucky shots in.

Theft should be grounds for a free coral shipped IMO

I wouldn't...they list 30 gallons as a "good size" for a purple tang. That and the "photo sharing" incident sends up red flags to me.

Besides the two red flags already mentioned, I went through all of their "about us" stuff and saw no address. Personally, I don't order from an online vendor that will not give you a street address even if they are not a storefront.
