Well from what I can gather it's called an Australian Ghost Lobster. It's from north eastern Australia and will grow to over 12 inches. It is one of if not the largest member of the crayfish family so technically not a lobster but he sure is quite neat. It is completely bleach white and you can see his heart beating under his carapace (or is it a thorax). It doesn't bother fish and is very easy to breed as the larva eat flake food. My reason for the post is that I think that Barry sold several of these and if any of you guys have one maybe we could try to get something going as far as captive breeding once they grow out. I have been told they are quite rare. I just think it might be fun to try it out. BTW if you ever want to breed something and can't differentiate the sexes get at least 6 of them. I wish I would've with this guy, he (and Ron) got me back into freshwater. Check'm out...
