No refrigeration device could possibly cool something without generating heat; more heat is produced than is removed from the space being cooled. This is a basic physical science law (a.k.a. the first law of thermodynamics).

Well, I failed out of physical science. I never made it past the "walls pushes back at you as hard as you push on the wall." (The wall never moves though!!!!)
I'm more of a numbers and money guy. (Biz/Finance maj/min)
Well, I'm back at square 1.
I work 12 hour days, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, etc etc. So I am not able to be home to hand feed. I read the sticky with the kalk reactor and that seems like a great idea, but I worry about it smelling. What ever I can come up with has to fit inside a 32X32X44 stand.

You could use a fan to blow the hot air out of the stand. In most cases, that would be sufficient for removing excess heat.

Do you have any room next to your stand? If visually it is a concern of having the refrigerator next to your stand you can always make a cover for it (of course leaving the back open for proper ventilation...the Avanti kicks off a decent amount of heat).

Wouldn't leaving the back of the stand open with fans blowing at the back take care of the heat? provided that the stand is two inch or so from the wall

Depending on what you plan to keep and what you plan to dose, this may be the solution for you:

The only problem is that doesn't it still use a chiller probe? Id have to have the chiller somewhere?

It uses an iceprobe thermoelectric chiller or similar device I believe, so no there is no remote chiller. Considering the size of the container the iceprobe was able to keep the contents very cool no problem. Stay tuned I'm hoping the guy building it is going to be finished soon (it was put on hold for a while as he had bigger obligations). Or you could probably DIY one yourself using a small media reactor. You will need to drill some holes in it, one for an airline to connect to an air pump so everything stays in suspension. At least one more hole for the output to the the dosing pump.

If you want to go the route of the small reactor with the probe you can ask Avast to make you up a 6" wide stubby reactor; have the top untapped and do it yourself. Sure with some creativity you can even put their kalk stirrer motor to use.

Thanks guys. That's exactly what I was thinking, contacting Avast. I was just looking at media reactors for bio-pellets. Might as well get them both in 1 shot.
I picked up the new tank today. Ill start a new thread with pics in a little while. Very pleased with it so far.

Ok. I'm just waiting to hear back from Avast on which glue to get, and Ill have parts on the way. I am getting a MR5 for bio-pellets, I only need 250ML so I don't need anything big. I am also getting the DIY stuff for a 6" X 8" long tube. I plan to put the Ice Probe chiller in the bottom and run kinda a MJ1200 as if a Kalk RX. I'm going to put the reactor on a stand but Ill post pics and a build thread along the way. Hopefully give the other Dave a run for his money. 
Does anyone see a problem with using FW from the top off to feed the food reactor? That way as the tank is topped off, I also be adding food, if that makes sense? I'm not sure what I will evaporate in a day yet. The tank wont be set-up till after Christmas since the tree is currently in the spot where the tank will go. Plenty of time to obsess over the plan in my head.
Again, I am sorry if these are newb questions. I am giving up the SPS to step into the dark side.
EDIT: OK stuffs ordered. Ill order the Ice Probe tomorrow when I am not burning dinner. Would you get the controller if it were you? I have and ACIIIPro to temp control if I need to.

Not related to the fridge, but since you are going to be doing the continuous feeding routine, you also need to plan how you will deal with water quality. I strongly recommend an automatic water changing system... something that will change the water daily if not every few minutes.

Ill have to hand drain but I'm going to run lines in my attic for fresh water and salt. I already keep 40 gallons of each in my garage. I may add a third pump in the sump to pump water out. I also plan to run Bio pellets and a Skimmer rated for double volume.
Is there any rule of thumb for NPS tank? I did 10% week on SPS.
