Frog Spawn Losing color????

my frog spawn has gone from nice and green with pink tips to a really whits color any reason why. same think happened to my brown polps, and green mushroom. any idea would be helpful thanks

Something is bleaching the zoxanthellae algae. Check for excess nutrients(phosphates and nitrates). Also check light bulbs and make sure they are not old. Temp might also be an issue. More details might help.

I had one do this when I had big temp swings.Stress caused the bleaching.

If temp is the issue and your house/tank tends to run warm it can be better to keep your tank at a slightly higher temp then letting large swings happen, My tank for example runs between 80-83 degrees through the day during the summer so I have my heater set at 80 and my corals are doing really well, expanding with lots of color.
