Frog Spawn Question!

I have a frog spawn in my 100g SW and up until the introduction of two true clowns, he would not come out all the way. He would consistently be hidden makign me think my water parameters were wrong. I tested and tested and tested to no avail. Everything was smooth as heck. 4 days ago, i put in the clowns and BAM. The Frog Spawn bloomed like crazy. The clowns are constantly swarming around this thing as if they are massaging it. I know the do that to anenomes. Is there a relation in the biological chain somehow between these two. I love it now. I was about to throw it out but now, its four branches dominate the stuff in my tank when it comes to beauty.

Do the clowns make these happy or what is it! Any suggestions?

I wonder if it was a coincidence? I have noticed frogspawn can take a bit to acclimate to the tank, whereas mine took about a week to fully open up. I have heard clowns host in LPS corals like this due to their strong instincts to host, but I am not aware of any benefit the frogspawn gets from the odd relationship.

Another possibility is that maybe the clowns are providing some sort of movement of water flow around the frogspawn that enticed it to feel more at home? Either way, if they both seem happy then its a beautiful thing!

Yeah I think it may be something odd the clowns did.
That's not normal. My Frog Spawn looks the same all the time wether the clowns are hosting or not

No idea if they make them "happy" or not, but my true percs dart in an out of my 4 headed frogspawn. Interesting that they made home there as I thought they wouldn't host it... either way it's puffy as ever.

Rock thats funny...although it was my bad. Correction: Its a 92 gallon with a 20 gallon sump. so would that be 112 gallons? lOl

The frogspawn refused to go in day or night from what i have observed. the clowns will not venture far away from it either. i shot some pics of em and they came out awesome.

Its really wierd. There is nothing in the tank that bothers them, just a tang and 4 blue/gree chromis.

As mentioned above, i guess if they are all happy then all is good. The clowns dont demonstrate any other irregular activities. They are healthy eaters and all water parameters are on target as of tonight.

My nitrates are around 7ppm but certainly manageable. thanks for the inputs everyone.
