frog splitting but new growth bleaching

My single head frog is splitting into two heads. The new growth area of new short tenticles looks as though they r bleaching because they are much lighter than the old ones. Is this normal or do i have a probelm? These new tenticles are right around the new mouth and are very short. The old tenticles around original mouth and around the new mouth are just fine. Do the new ones need time to develope zoo algea inside?

Don't freak out yet, give it some more time. It's still in the splitting/generating stage. I'd give it at least another week or two. It's "zooanthellae" ... not zoo algea.

Wait a week, then report back.
