i just picked this guy up from LFS and didnt know what kind he was.:fish1:

I could hazard a guess, but without seeing the fish's esca/illicium and a good side view, it would be that...a guess.

Not the greatest pic, but are you sure it just isnt a toadfish? Looks like what you have pictured?

Not saying I disagree with the ID, because its likely it is that, but without a better pic I wouldn't be 100% sure.

I am 100% positive with the ID. Also, the fish looks a little malnourished to me. He seems a bit sunken in the face. How/what is he/she eating? Also, watch that heater. He could perch on it and get burned.

I'm feeding frozen silversides and he is got a belly now lol i'm not going to feed him tomorrow cuz i don't want to over feed him.thanks for the heater tip and the help
