Sup ya I have 2 picasso clowns that are hosting a frogspawn. The have been hosting it for a few months now and doing great. My question is will hosting the frog make them lose there black or slow it down? I'v heard clowns that host rbta's don't color up as nice/quick as clowns that don't host them.

They will help with the black...although i would be careful because some times they cut or scratch themselves

i'v had them for 4 months now and they have been fight a week after i got them till now. i know they might be fight for dominance but is it normal for them to fight this long? if so how long should i expect this to go on for before i should start to be concerned about it?

They sometimes never stop the displays for dominance. If the fights end in locked jaws then it is more then just a pair bonding dominance issue. Hopefully you do not have two females. What size are your clowns?

The frogspawn can cause black marks on the clowns called, hyper-melanization so don't freak out if you see them.

Also, clownfish do not host. It is the frogspawn and anemones that host the clownfish.

The frogspawn can also be damaged by the clowns.. it need be proportionally larger than a comparable anemone..

one of the clowns is about 1" and the other is about 1 1/2". when i got them they were about 1/2" - 3/4". its wired cuzz sometimes i see the the bigger one start twitching on its side sumitting to the smaller one but somthimes its the other way around. and the frog is about 7" maybe a bit bigger when fully open and they seem to love it in there. when they sleep at night the small one get to sleep in the frog.
