frogspawn bubble?????

Some people believe it's a sign that the coral is splitting, but I've seen a frogspawn double in size over time and never witnessed anything like that. Either way though, I wouldn't worry about it. I had a bubble form on a favia one time. It lasted for at least 6 months, but nothing ever became of it.

check it out, about 2/3 of the way down the page:

I don't know what this is, but it formed on an E. specimen in one of my own aquariums many years ago. It did get bigger or smaller at times, but persisted for over a year before disappearing if memory serves. I gave the coral to a friend about three years ago, but still see it in his aquarium regularly and the bubble has never come back. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. No one that I've showed this to has had an answer.

I had a 30+ head colony that did that whenever the head was splitting. That's a good sign and means it's growing. It's not instant, takes time but you're doing things right.
