Yep, looks good to me. He looks fully extended too. Watch how he retracts at night. If he goes several days like that during the day, then you will know something is not right. They are a fairly low maintenance coral. Its a good choice to start with. Good luck. You look like you're off to a good start!

I started with a frag like that as my first coarl now it is 1/2 the size of a basketball huge in 2 years!

Yours looks good

Good luck

Flow and water quality with euphyllia are really important. With that said, I bought a two headed piece from a LFS back in '02/03 which has seen three tanks and produced over 150+ frags in that time.

Looks great!! Keep up the good work. Give it a piece of Mysis and watch it eat, it's amazing how they pull the food to their mouth.

It looks good but could be a bit stressed. To keep it healthy make sure its not getting a ton of flow and not too much light. I usually keep mine in the sand or substrate because on the rocks they won't usually open all the way because there polyps hit the rock and stress out, too much light will also cause it to lose color and begin to look clear.

I have two. One is doing very well while the other is very retracted. They are not in dissimilar conditions ,and I have had this happen before can anyone say why. the are about 4 inches apart. :(

I recently installed two K425's in my 29 gallon creating much stronger currents throughout my tank. My Frogspawn has been fully extended, so I thought, with gentle currents. I noticed that my FS became swollen and even more extended with the higher current. I guess there are exceptions to every rule. Food for thought.
