Frogspawn / Hammer color change, feeding question

Couple of days ago, I got some frags of Frogspawn (dark green) and some hammer. I think they are fading a bit. Is my bright Kessil to blame? I have toned it down a little. How many hours of bright light do they need? Should the level be around 30%?

Also for feeding, I use hikari marine S, green flakes, and Cyclopeze for my fish. Is there special feeding required for these corals? Maybe using a turkey blaster?

My frogspawn is under VHO's for 12 hrs a day and grows pretty rapidly. I am in the process of a tank upgrade and the new tank has Reef Breeders LEDs. My test piece has been in the new tank for a week and a half about 10" below the surface at 30%. The colors are OK, but the polyps are not stretched out expanded like the were under the VHOs.

What kind of lighting were your corals under before you bought them? You might want to drop your lights down slightly.

I think the previous owner had T5's for several hours. I can bump up the Kessils if it's ok. They are already over capacity for my 36G bowfront.

Here's a pic of one of the hammers.

Probably just re-adjusting to the kessils. Looks healthy overall, just a little lighter in color from the transition. I brought one back that was worse than that, it was almost the exact color a week after I got it. In my experience as long as the tentacles are out and extended during the day and you don't see any tissue recession at night when it closes up it should recover its color. It took mine about a month and a half to start showing deeper color again but mine had pretty serious tissue loss and didn't extend that far out during the day.

i have my kessil set at 40& blue and 50% white and all of my corals have vibrant colours and have great polyp extension.
