Frogspawn issue

I have this frogspawn that has been doing great, the rest of my corals are doing good except my zoanthids. Issue is half of it looks like it does at night, the other half looks fine. Any ideas why this would only happen to half of it? I'm unable to get my picture to attach here!

how long has the zoa been in your tank? maybe it hasnt acclimated to your tank yet? maybe lighting is too strong?

The zoanthids has been in my tank since January it was doing fine, the only thing I noticed with it was it has brittle stars in it. I'm just trying to figure out why half of my frogspawn is not open like the rest of it?

Check for small white specks on your polyps. Moving or otherwise. I had the same problem and found parasitic pods on my frogspawn. Two treatments with Bayer insecticide and the polyps are opening up again. Also look for vermetid snails and superglue their opening. The nets they cast can irritate your coral.
