Frogspawn-Mushroom ?

If my frogspawn is over my mushrooms when it is opened will they sting each other? If so will this effect the mushrooms or the frogspawn?

depends on the kinds of mushrooms, some are more potent than others. I can't say with any certainty, but I'd assume the mushrooms are more vulnerable in this case.

If the frogspawn's tentacles touch the mushroom, it will most likely "burn" the mushroom. You should move them apart, or you risk losing your mushrooms.

I have a frogspawn that is about as wide as 2 softballs and it touches mushrooms (discoma) all the time. It does burn them, but the mushrooms never DIE!!!! Unfortunately, I would like them to die but that is a different story. If you can find a way to kill mushrooms effectively to where they never come back please let me know. Otherwise, your frogspawn will not totally kill your shrooms.

P.S. Don't let the frogspawn near Ricordeas however!

FrogSSpawn tentacles can extend to about 6 inches at night when they eat. They will sting anything they come into contact with. Survival of the fittest, the mushrooms will lose.
