Frogspawn not doing well

Just picked up a frogspawn from a member here and it's not doing well at all. Been 4 days now and it has shrunk up to nothing and like shedding big time. Is this normal?
Regards,
Doug

don't think so mine has never done that. I do know that it is normal to loss a head or two from the stress of the move and new environment. What lighting and flow is it in?

I had started out with 3 once and lost a head that was doing what you are saying. Now its 4 heads so if its not all of them could be the stress and what not like roger said. Im not positive tho.

I think it might be harassment from my snowflake. Will quarantine the coral tonight and see if that helps.

Doug

yup pic, light and water flow needed still. I haven't feed mine anything but calium. I feed my tank cyclopeeze but it dosn't seem to pull any in. If it is not all the heads I agree I think it will do fine. but need pic and parameters

I moved a frogspawn I had in my 37 for a year to a 10gal holding tank and it didn't do well until it died. Find out from the previous owner about what flow and lighting it was in.

you can feed them mysis shrimp, ny shotting one in the middle of the head, very very gently, but be careful not to suck up any of the frogspawn when your doing it.

You have an eel in there? Those things are waste machines. What kind of skimmer you got on your system? Hope its a good one to pull out all of the eel's sh**

I have a 2 foot Zebra eal in a 200 gallon sumpless, skimmerless tank and it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. It's been in the tank over the past 2 years. I don't have any large polyped stonies in the tank, mostly SPSs and softies.

My snowflake is about 14" long. He is the first thing I bought with my first saltwater setup. Around 6 years old now. I want to get rid of him but the family doesn't. He only eats once a week so waste isn't that bad.

Doug
