Frogspawn question

My frogspawn has recently ejected it's polyps on one of it's branches. Will it grow back?
The ejected polyp is just sitting on the bottom of the tank now. It looks okay & it is still inflated. Will that part grow a skeleton?
This happened about a week ago. Just wondering.

Polyp bailout is usually the result of stress. Hypothetically the polyp can grow a skeleton but ime there's no way to anchor it so it gets blown under some rock and dies. There a marginally better potential for the skeleton to regrow a head but it's a slow process at best.


More importantly you need to determine why the polyp seperated if possible and correct the situation.
