Frogspawn Question

So, you all know how random things can happen in your tank with perfectly healthy corals. Well, for some reason unknown to me my frogspawn which has been growing like crazy over the last year and a half has started to do this. What is going on here and what could cause this to suddenly happen?

Looks really ****ed off. If it still looks the same, consider fragging it before it spreads. Lovely bi-colored piece, I have a hammer just like it.

Is an anemone or coral stinging it? Remember many have long sweepers that come out at night.

Is the frogspawn hosting the clownfish in the picture? It's possible it started getting too rough. Clowns are known to hurt and eventually kill LPS coral from ebing too rough with the host coral. Possibly being stung aswell. Keep a close eye and if need be frag that head off.

Thank you! Yes, it does seem very ****ed off. I've run into this with another coral of mine sometime back, to a hammer as a matter of fact. I fragged that colony in half where the heads split. It was good for a while, but later still continued to decline.

Yes, the frogspawn is hosting the clownfish. How can I get the clownfish to stop? I have three RBTA's and they ignore them.

Is it spitting out it's zooxanthellae possibly? I had something similar happen to mine, and they ended up quite receded and color loss.
