Frogspawn recovery question

I bought a small Frogspawn a couple of months ago. It has one branch/head. While cleaning the tank I accidentally suctioned half of the head which quickly died. The other half became very deflated and sick looking for about a month. I almost chunked it but decided to give it some time. The last 2 days the living half is looking very full and healthy. Will it start to grow new branches if only half the head is alive?

Any help appreciated.

If your water parameters are good moSt likely it will as long as it doesn't become infected. I broke a section off my frogspawn when I first got it at 4 heads. The branch I damaged eventually regrew and it's now like 12-16 heads a year later
