frogspawn temp tolerance?

Ok, this may sound like a stupid question, but it's something I'm curious about. I do not yet have a frogspawn, but I would really like one at some point in the near future. I'm hoping on moving the tank to a cooler house, because my parents are causing problems at our house with it. Essentially, there are times that they don't turn on the air conditioning until an hour or two after the house has gotten to about 83-84. I think I know the answer, but would it be possible for a frogspawn or hammer to survive a 2-3 hour temp spike up to about 90-91? I'm not planning on getting one until I move the tank, but I'm just curious how high of a temperature they can stand for a short time without dying. Thanks for the tips.

I have never dealt with temperatures like this but I have both a frogspawn and a hammer coral and I can't imagine them living in temps that high even for 2-3 hours. That would probably put some serious stress on your corals.

Get some fans on that tank surface. It's a wonder anything is alive. I'm not sure I would be---alive, that is.

At the moment there are ice bags in the sump to circulate some cooler water, a fan on the surface, and lights off with AC on. Thus the reason for the tank move, sooner rather than later hopefully. That's pretty much what I had been thinking, thanks for the confirmation.

I surely wish you cooler landings! That's rough. When you get where you're going, may it have potent a/c.

The current AC, fan, and ice in the sump bring it to about 81 :) , so I guess this is my temp solution for the moment.
