I think some of the tenticles on my frogspawns may have burst...
It had a green slime trail comming out of it.. what do I have to do, to ensure it stays alive

Are you sure it's green? It could just be pooping. I wouldn't worry unless it starts to retract.

It was white and green tinted slime.. It has also retracted itself.

Yeah, it looks a little retracted. How is it placed in your tank? Flow, lighting, other corals?

its at the top as high as I can get it the lighting is fine for it... and the flow was perfect. Since I have had it the size of it had tripled while open until yesterday when it retracted itself and the slime came out.

Is there anything near it that could be causing chemical warfare of sorts?

Nothing remotely close to it.. a few months ago it did the same thing but it then took the shape of one side kind of taking on two heads but the slime was not present at that time nore did it retract this much
