bought a 3 gallon front back and side glasses are lower than bottom glass, should I put something under the bottom glass ? thx

I believe all rimless aquariums require denser foam under them..
Some use that pink insulation board from home depot..

In a 3 gallon I don't think it will make much of a difference. There will only be like 20lbs of weight on it. For piece of mind you may want to put some rigid foam or something similar underneath.

I wouldn't worry about it too much...

My CadLight 125g came with a foam mat that looks and feels just like what I used on my 25g frag tank and 65g shallow reef. That is a yoga mat. It's soft enough and easy to cut.

But unless the 3g tank is very thin glass, I don't think you need to worry about it.
