Let me start by saying, I'm a longtime customer and the customer service has been excellent BUT... I shouldn't have to call every time I need to make a small change to my program/schedule. I'm tired of the endless "preparing and synchronizing schedule data" cycle, plugging/unplugging the reef link and all of my other devices then calling and it's always a server problem. With all of the money I've invested in Ecotech Products, I expect more reliable network services. Anyways, I'm going to leave it at that. Rant over, thanks for listening...
 
I was having this same problem but fixed it by updating the reeflink with latest firmware update via USB cable. Click on your reeflink under devices and make sure you have the latest update. Also make sure your PC and reeflink on on the same wireless network. I had a wi-fi booster in my house that was piggybacking on the reeflink and this caused problems.
 
Update: this time it was my reeflink. Firmware fixed my issue. Thanks spotter, soggydollar and of course ecotech!

p.s. I'm still scared to make changes to my schedules on the wknd when customer service is off! :)

Can I ask why do you make frequent schedule changes? I can't remember the last time I changed anything lol
 
I've been using these lights for 4+ years now with upgrades from G2 to G4, regular lenses to wide tir, hanging to rms mounted, LPS to SPS, SPS back LPS, tank upgrades...

Over that time I just feel like I have to call a lot to get some simple things resolved and with work it's not always convenient and it's rarely something that I need to do on my end. Like I opened with, Ecotech has always been helpful, it just gets frustrating sometimes.
