Fry Everywhere

So strating about a month ago I noticed tiny fry in my overflows. I then found more in 3 sections of my sump (24/7 lit macro-algae section, MH lit anenome clone section and the return section). Some seem to be growing a little but nothing has made it past the larval stage. I did some reading and at about 2 weeks clownfish lavae start to look like little clownfish.

My Clarkiis have been spawning regularly for months now. I have a spawning pair of Bangais with some babies still alive after a year with no attempt to rear them but baby Bangiis look like Bangais from the moment they are released. I have a paif one-spot Foxfaces but never seen any spaning behaviour. So I guess it must be Clarkii larvae? There are literally hundreds of fry in the sump now at various sizes. In the anenome section where there is LR there are swarms of fry. I find it amazing that they were able to traverse the overflow, in and out the skimmer (skimmer is direct gravity fed) and over a few baffles to get where they are. Has to be Clarki larvae - could it be anything else?

Has anyone else experienced this? And what's the chance of one or two making it? I am sprinkling crushed pellet and flake and many seem interested in eating but I'm aware that rotifers are needed. Tank is old (4-5 years) with insane pod life in the sump. I have amphipods inthere teh size of king prawns. :p

my first guess is...it sounds like mysids. whiles its possible it is fish fry, if by the first few days and they arent eating -they start dying off
I guess a photo or two would answer my question

If they are going to survive anywhere, the fuge/sump would be the place. Mine is loaded with pods and mysis...mysis lara are tiny and I don't see why fry couldn't eat them.
Time to break out the magnifying glass to make sure.

I raise both baby mysids and clownfish - baby mysids are too big for clown fry. The clowns would have to be at least 3-4 weeks old to fit a baby mysid in its mouth. I don't even feed clown fry newly hatched brine shrimp, which are very tiny and what baby mysids eat, until they are at least 2 weeks old. Baby mysids are also clear and very difficult to see except with a black background. Very curious about what you have going on!

I've not used mysis for fry...I've just noticed that they are pretty small and might be a food source. I have, on the other hand, used small varieties of cultured copepods with good success. That might be a food source found readily in an aged sump....I know they are in mine.
