Fry swimming sideways

I have about 250 5-day old Percularis fry and a couple of them have been swimming on their sides the last 2 days and staynig on the surface. They are eating and hunting rots but they immediately go sideways and float on the surface. I think they either have air bladder problems or air in their stomachs as the stomachs are huge. Then again so are all the other fry. What can cause this and should I cull these or see if they pull out of it?

I had a couple that did that. Likely they are just very full. As long as they are alive, no need to remove them. Likely they will grow up to be happy fish.

Is it possible the oxygen levels are low in the tank and the fish are staying in the upper levels for more oxygen? I've heard this mentioned in some of the other threads.

Kathy- Thanks, I'll keep an eye on them. They do have larger guts than the others and roll side to side when feeding.

FishGuttz- I don't think it's oxyqen depletion. it is only a couple of them and the rest all are in different levels of the water column. and most of them stay on the bottom at lights out.
