I caught only 10 and looks like they all died except for one but probably on his way out when I looked in the bucket he was going in circles.
I turned everything off at 9:20is then waited about 30 min turned on my little light and saw a cardinal that had got through my contraption well scopped him out and fixed the barracde so they could not get through again.. Waited and waited they would only hatch like 1-3 at a time all the way till 1am and I gave up. There were eggs left on the rock when I went to bed but when I got up all was gone. I am trying to check the videos that I downloaded to photobucket before I post them...

How old are your pair again???
How long have they been laying eggs????

Have you collected a sample to see if their still alive?

I use the L type Rotifers..... I purchase them from my LFS... BUT they purchase them from Reed Mariculture..
I feed them RG complete...

They are about 2yrs old because I think I got them when they were about 6mons old.
They started laying eggs a 3 months ago this was batch #7.

I have but some looked good and did not.
I guess I will need to get a new culture and start over with the Rotifiers. I
have been feeding mine the Rotigrow Plus stuff from Reed.

Sometimes the fry just hatch on day 9.... Do you have your trap ready?
Their working the nest just like their suppossed to....

I had same problem your having so maybe this will help, I have a pair that will only lay on the glass. So I built a snagger much like the one you are using with very little success, I notice fly would swim around top of snagger but not many would go back down to openning.

So I built new design with openning at top, for this I used black arcylic so light could only be seen from openning. This works like a charm, I do not turn light on for at least 1 hour after lights out as to not delay hatch. I learned this the hard way, if you turn light on any sooner it can turn into a two hatch
