Sadly, my father-in-law passed away suddenly a few weeks ago. My mother-in-law asked me to take care of the tanks. She offered them to me, or ask me to sell them, but she cannot take care of them, and she doesn't want to burden me with maintaining them. I offered to do so, and we spoke at length about what she wanted to do with them. My first option would be to sell them whole, I'd prefer not to try to deal with parting them out. If someone is interested in the contents of either tank, but not the tank/ equipment let me know. I'd prefer not to sell the livestock piece by piece as the tanks are not at my house, and that would be difficult.
125g
72"x18"x22" tank. The tank has an Amiracle HOB overflow & wet/dry filter. I'm not sure exactly on the return pump, however the HOB overflow works very well. I did a water change last night, shutdown the return, and when I started it back up the overflow started back up immediately. The tank has 3 VHO tubes (UVL Actinic White) powered by an Icecap 430 ballast. There are a couple of Koralia powerheads (not sure what size). There's also a SCWD on the return line. The stand & hood are both oak, and in pretty good shape, the tank itself has some scratches, but overall is in pretty good shape. The tank has been running for roughly 12 years (I think).
Tank has probably ~100 lbs of a mixture of fiji LR & base rock.
There are zoanthids, xenia, and various mushrooms, and a toadstool coral (which isn't looking too hot). There is also a wide variety of snails (turbos, nassarius, bumblebees, astraea), hermit crabs (BL, scarlet, and several larger species), and at least 1 emerald crab.
Fish include:
a pair of tomato clowns (~11 years old)
a very large sailfin tang (~8-10 years old)
a sixline wrasse
a bi-color blenny
several percula clowns (including a mated pair hosting in xenia)
$600
Some quick pics I snapped tonight, sorry not the best quality.
55g
Standard 55g, 48"x12"x18" (I think). Tank has 48" Current Sundial fixture. A Koralia powerhead, and some sort of HOB filter.
The tank has 40lbs ( I believe ) of Lalo LR. There are some mushrooms, zoanthids, xenia, and a frogspawn coral, either 2 blue devil damsels or 2 blue & gold damsels, and 5 small perculas (yes, he loved clowns), as well as a large cleanup crew of astraea snails & BL hermits.
$300
Sorry about the "fuzzy" details, but these are not my tanks.
