FS: 170g Starphire Interamerican glass tank

Custom Inter-American Starphire 50ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ x 28ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ x 28" 170g Tank

Awesome dimensions--seems like just the right height and depth w/ starfire glass on 3 sides. 1/2" glass sides and front, 3/4" on bottom, large internal overflow on rear left area of the tank (18"x7"), polished edges.

Bought this tank hoping to use in-wall but does not fit. I can still use as a refugium in my garage but if someone is interested, I can sell the tank by itself for $550 or $750 w/ custom steel stand w/ new powder coat (stand is now in shop to get sandblasted and powder coated). btw, this is newkie's and reefcherie's old tank.

Just got home and got plenty of PMs so it's fair to go down the line. Danny's 1st in line (yes, this is the same tank you've already seen but i can't believe you wd be interested after working so hard on the tank you have now!) and nashorn's next if Danny passes. The stand is already in a shop ready to get sandblasted and powder coated. If a buyer commits and lets me know the color he/she prefers, i can possibly change from the semi-gloss black i told them to put on. I removed the basin/drain in the bottom of the stand so it will be all steel--just like new.

28" is a great height. My new tank is 30". If I remember correctly, you are pretty tall. You shouldn't have any problem with 28"H tank ..

I don't think Danny wants it anymore. His girl friend will bury him in that tank if he gets it :lol: ..

Yup, some lucky SOB is going to get this tank but it isn't going to be me. I think I'll enjoy my current tank a little longer. Man, this is hurting so bad.

on a serious note: It's when someone pushes a thread back up to the top to be more visible by potential buyers.
