After some thinking, I've decided to sell off my system. I'll be starting a new job next month and will have no time whatsoever to take care of my tank. I would prefer to sell everything as a whole. But, I have also listed prices for a complete breakdown.

Price as a whole: $2400

Please note: I can only sell certain gear(powerheads, heaters, etc) until the livestock has been sold. Prices are also OBO.

Gear list:
240 gallon acrylic (8x2x2): Has one single overflow, with an inlet on the bottom. Gate on overflow was enlarged slightly for a faster return pump.

Some scratches on the inside that can be buffed out. Will come with custom oak stand, 40 gal sump, scratch removal kit, actinic lights, and canopy. $1000

Bubble Master 250: One pump was purchased new last year and both have the Red Devil pinwheel. The new pump also has the AquaMaxx venturi.

Collection cup was drilled for a drain line, and base has been reglued(dropped it when I bought it - doh!). Will also come with 5 gal jug for extra waste
capacity. $320

Iwaki MD-40RXT: Works great, just missing the bracket for mounting to the floor: $50

Reefkeeper 2: Guy I bought this from didn't tell me the screen/backlight was fairly dim. Can still be viewed in daylight. Comes with PH and temp
probe. $100

Two 1600 GPH generic powerheads: Covered in coraline growth, but work fine flow-wise. These are suction cup mount. $20

Jebao 55w UV sterilizer: Used for less than a year. $80

Float valves: $10 for both

Lot of maxi-jets: $50

300w heaters: $10 each. One is a PCI, the other a Rena cal

Test kits and suppliments:

Test kit package: Contains Salifert Mg, CA, and KH kits. There is an additional Mg and KH kit in plastic bags, a Red Sea PO4 kit, and flatworm exit.

These are around halfway full. I can also throw in the toolbox to carry them all. $40

Test kit package 2: Contains a Liquid Master Test Kit and some extra NO3 and CA bottles. $15

Digital PH tester: Needs new batteries. $5

Calibration solution: Take all for $20 or $.85 each

Can also sell all the test kits, solutions, and Ph tester for $70

Suppliments package: Carbon (both have about a cup removed), Micro Bacter7(1/4 filled), Kalk, Tech M(around 1/4 filled), turbo calcium, coral amino(1/2

filled), reef-roids(1/8 filled), PhosGuard (one filled, the other 1/2), BRS Mag mix, Reefcomplete (more than 3/4 filled), Poly Filter, KM superbuffer

dKH, KM osmo-prep, a few sea-lab cubes, and fragging plugs. $170

Livestock:

8~ inch naso tang: My favorite fish. Loves to eat a lot of nori and run off with it. $80

3 yellow tangs: One is fully grown, one is about 3-4", and another at 2". $40 for the large, $30 for the medium, and $20 for the small

Pair of ocellaris clowns: $30

2 powder brown tangs: One is roughly 4-5", the other around 3". $30 for the large and $20 for the smaller one.

medium blue tang: $30

Mimic tang: Roughly 4-5", $25

7-9 inch Squamosa clam: $80

Live rock: No aptaisia, had a pair of peppermints that cleaned them out. Also has a good amount of coraline growth. $2/lb

Live Sand: $0.50/lb

Devils Hand: $20

Frogspawn: $20

Candycane corals: $30 for all frags. Got a few that aren't doing too well.

I am very interested in the tank/stand/sump/lights/canopy and the return pump. I know I'd have to wait for all the other stuff to be sold so....Let me know. Located in Granada hills so not tooooo far away also

Mike are you building another Fowlr or reef?

I am thinking of getting one too but a 225 -300 gallon glass

Nick if you need help and I am free I willing to help you out.

Would you meet around Filmore?
I'll take the Naso LMK

Sorry, not really willing to meet halfway.

Sounds good. Selling the tank/canopy would have been the hardest part of parting out for me. I'll keep you updated.

Lawrence for this I want to try a reef with small fish. :). No more predator killers anymore since I got a couple. Lol

small PBT sold.

Anyone interested in the live rock? It would be much easier for me to catch the fish if I didn't have to remove rock every time I try to net a fish.

back to the top. Supposed to have the naso, clowns, and some rock picked up this weekend. Everything else still available and am open to offers

The canopy openings were enlarged when we switched over to solar tubes, so its essentially a frame on top. Excuse the mess up top.
