Oh they are brighter for sure. Just got to get use to these 10K reeflux. Even Greenpuffers noticed it when she came over today and I didnt even tell her.
I only have it on for 4 hrs for right now and will slowly increase the time over the next few weeks till I hit 6 hrs a day. The temp got to 79.8 when the lights went out. I think Ill be okay. Even if it hits 84, it will be fine.
I'm finding you can build up some heat tollerance in your corals. When the summer heat began this year, my Blue Pearl Bubble would freak out if the temp hit 84. Now it has to go up to 85 or so before it freaks out and closes up.
that purple was still @ scott's on friday. The purple and PBT were really funny to watch. they were playing hide and seek. it was pretty cool to watch. the PBT was really sweet looking.
