Upgrading to a larger cube so I will be selling this one to help fund for my new build.
Tank is a 34g Solana with Starphire glass on the viewing panels. Never had it before but it truly makes the tank look like there isn't water in it, it's that clear. There is some scratching due to it being more sensitive than regular glass but nothing overly apparent. Back panel is completely clean which is hard to find in a used Solana. All sides are beveled glass.
Tank has an All-In-One filtration on the back panel. 1 panel is for the heater and protein skimmer, second is for different media (will include eggcrate media holder) and last chamber is for the return and an ATO. Tank comes with a Maxi-Jet 900 which I found to be a nice turnover for this tank. Also bought a sponge holder and sponger for the overflow to reduce cascading water noise and for further filtration.
Included with the tank itself, a Tunze 9002 Skimmer which is one of the highest chosen options for this tank. Bought it from a fellow reefer so the magnet is attached to the back, mod has been added to reduce noise and increase skim, and a secondary more efficient collection cup has been added.
Also built a BRS top to keep any jumpers out.
Lastly, is the stand. The Solana is known to have a somewhat rickety stand but I have placed of particle board on the back to increase stability as well as reinforce all sides with additional screws.
Asking $300 for the tank, stand, and Protein Skimmer. This DOES NOT include the MP10, Light, heater, rock, or sand. I will be reusing all of it on my new build.
The tank is currently still running and you are free to stop by and check it out if you are interested. It will be taken down in less than one month but I wanted to put this out to see if anyone was interested.
Possible trades would be another MP10 only.
