I took down my 35 the other day and I guess I'm going to sell the tank plus equipment. Its in great shape and everything works. The Snowflake eel that was in it had gotten pretty big so we decided to move him to the 92 gallon. Since he was the only thing in it I just took down the tank. Out of our 3 systems its the only one not connected to my equipment room so it has always been a little more trouble to do water changes ect.

Its a all glass 35 hexagon tank drilled for an external overflow with two 1" drains. I built the stand and sump for it. It also has a control box that I built that matches the stand. The box has Neptune AcJr controller and a DC8. It also has a 8 switch power strip. The controller has temp and PH probe. The light over it is a Coralife clamp on 150watt pendant. It also has a wood wall mount that matches the stand. Ti heater and has a fan in the stand over the sump.

Asking 550 for everything. The light and AcJr cost that alone. I'd rather sell it all together, But I might part it out if no one wants the whole setup. The wife just wants me to stick it in the attic cause she swears I'm going to want another in a month or two lol. If you want the ATO with it add another 50.

here is a few pictures. BTW if anyone can find my build thread it has tons of pics an info on the setup. I did a search in AL reefers but RC is having issues..

What happened to the sea monster you had in there? Wasn't he a little aggressive to be in the big tank?

Haha yeah he probably is. But he had really gotten to big for the 35 and he kept knocking rocks everywhere. So far he seems to be doing fine in the 92 with the fish. Only a few fish in that tank anyway. As long as he doesn't eat my clowns I'm ok. They host a BTA at the top of the tank. So I think they should be safe for the most part. We really like the eel and have had him for a couple of years. The way I looked at I like him better then the fish in the 92 so it was worth the risk lol

Not to jack the thread but i just got a AC JR and i was thinking about making a stand off to the side of my tank and i like how the controller is flat on the one you made. If you dont mind would you show or tell how you got the ac jr in there

BHAMR6 sorry forgot to respond to your post.. All I did was route out the top so the ACJr would set flush into the lid of the box. The Controller is installed from the inside out and is held by a wood bracket I made. Its a little hard to explain exactly how I did it. Sorry I looked for some pictures the lid while I was making it, but I dont think I took any.

Brandon I'm still trying to sell it together. If noone wants the whole setup I'll probably ask 150 ACJr with Ph probe, Temp Probe, DC8 ,power adapter and cable for the DC8. If someone wants the DJ power strip with it add 20 bucks. The DJ power strip has been rewired so that it has 6 power cables vs 1. Meaning that instead of 1 cable power all 8 switches 5 switches have their own power cord and the other 3 share one cord. I did this so you can plug the switches into the DC8 and they act like both a indicator light and a over ride switch. IE say your DC8 has your light on and you want it off to change the bulb clean the light whatever. Instead of having to flip through the menu on the ACJr you can just flip what ever switch you have the light plugged into.

Alright I guess its time to split this stuff up.
Tank, stand and acrylic sump. $200.00
AC Jr with Ph probe, Temp probe, DC8 and DC cable $160.00
CoraLife Aqualight 150watt clamp on style. Bulb is about 6 months old I also should have the factory 10k bulb that was only used a few weeks. $180.00
JBJ Auto top off with dual float swithes $40.00 Add $10.00 if you also want the RO/DI solenoid with it.

lol well I figured the other stuff would sell fast. The biggest thing will be finding somone local that needs the tank and stand. I'm really surprised noone has bought the MH light yet They are like 320 plus shipping new.

I am interested in the light actually. I am considering it for a small tank (probably 10G) that I plan to use during a frag swap since my 70W light did not work out too well in Birmingham swap. I think it's quite an overkill for a 10 gallon tank, but it's just for a few hour period. If no one takes it, can I try it on a 10G and see how some frags would look under it?

lol yeah 150 over a 10 might be a little much. It should work though. The clamp on the back should fit pretty much any standard tank. Its the same light John has on his tanks in the back.
