FS 36" Tek Elite 6 bulb w/ new fans

Upgrading to a larger tank so I need a new light setup, so I'm selling my 6 bulb 36" tek elite with the new fans from tek (almost all of the elites had a problem with noisey fans)
I bought the fixture new about six months ago, comes with bulbs which have another 4-6 months on them. Also comes with acrylic shield.


The bulbs are;
2 uv 454's
2 geismann actinic plus
Daylights;
1 kz Fiji purple
1 kz new gen 14k

Asking $300 obo

Looking back on photos of when I got it it turns out it's really one 3-4 months old, needs to go, great light barely used!

Hi there,

Are these still available?

Would they be overkill for a 40 breeder? I have been thinking a 4 bulb would be plenty. I'm worried a 6 might be too much light (plus expense when it comes time to replace the bulbs), so I don't want to buy more than I need.

Does this fixture include moonlight LEDs?

We don't even have the tank yet, but are planning on a 40G breeder as an upgrade to our 8 gallon biocube in the near future.

Still have it I had it hanging over my 40 br and it worked nice. Doesn't come with any moon lights.
