FS: ATI PowerModule 8x39w T5 fixture

Well the tank has been gone for awhile now and I just haven't gotten around to listing this yet. I have an ATI Powermodule T5 fixture that I'm looking to sell that should be ready to pickup this weekend (possibly sooner). The ballasts went out on the fixture so I got new ones from reefgeek and will be swapping them in this week sometime. Hence why I'm thinking it'll be ready to go this weekend.

The unit is NOT a dimmable unit, the eight bulbs in it have about 7 months use on them and I also have 6 new bulbs that can go with it as well. With the new ballasts in it the unit is basically brand new....

GREAT light, just no use for it with the tank gone.

Here was the unit when I first installed it:

I think $500 OBO is fair, still cheaper than a sunpower and includes bulbs....

I think I'll do a writeup on it for the DIY crowd so if anyone else gets a bad ballast they can swap it too.

We were slow at work today so I was able to work on the fixture today....

It's all back together and running great.

After quite a few emails to ship this out I'm going to offer it up for much cheaper to the locals first to see if it goes.....

$425 for fixture and extra bulbs.... Just rather not deal with the hassle of shipping...

Come and get it !!!!

What size is it bro? 48"?

It's a 39w bulb so 3 feet length.... the 54w bulbs are 4 footers.

35.5" x 18" x 2.5" are the dimensions of the fixture...... I would have no issue saying this would make enough light to cover a four foot tank though. :thumbsup:

Just to clarify (I wonder if this is why it hasn't sold), I have changed out ballasts and the unit is up and running at 100%. You will not need to buy any ballasts to get the light up and running. I thought I was clear with that but maybe I was wrong after getting a PM about it......

Thanks for the PM, not interested in shipping this right now or it would've sold for $500 the first day I listed it....

Just don't want to deal with the hassle of boxing it up, hoping nothing gets broken, etc.

would you consider meeting north at all? Im hour north of milwaukee and interested.I know your looking for a rimless 24x24 tank.Best fish in milwaukee sells deep blue 60 gal rimless tanks if interest you.I would pay some gas to meet a ways up.I just dont have time to get down there.lol this way i could pay you and you could buy tank.Also best fish worth checking out if never there.

I'm waiting to hear back from bet fish, if they have a non-rimless 60g with bottom overflows we might definitely be able to work something out, I'll keep you posted.....

ok let me know before order another light lol.Brain great with emails.I can also contact him.I know he had the rimless 60 which is amazing looking with the thicker glass etc.I know he had 60 gal cubes of other brands at one point also.His prices are always great.

I sent him an email, just hoping to hear back soon....

I had this light over a 90 rimless and I need the next tank to not be a rimless or else I would definitely go that route.
