FS: Canon PowerShot A520 - New

I have a brand new never used Canon PowerShot A520 digital camera for sale. The box is opened but the camera has never been used. It's a 4MP camera. Comes with all cables and manuals. Also includes a 16MB MultiMedia memory card. I'll even throw in an Energizer AA battery charger with 3 AA rechargeable batteries. Local pick up in Upland for $165. Thanks.

Hey Kenny Im interested....Im trying to research on this item..Anyone here have teh same camera and would like to show me how the pics came out?

I definatley need a new camera..Kenny if youve seen the pics Ive posted do they come out any better than that. I have no idea how well a 4MP cam can do?

Theres a few really good digicam review sites but this is the one i go to first. They have a gallery of sample pics, too.

I have the A610 version of this camera which is almost identical. I believe I read that this line of cameras were just released last year and are a huge improvement over the line that preceded them.

Personally I love mine and for their price I think they compare to cameras costing twice as much.

I have never actually used this particular camera so I can't really tell you how the pix compare to the ones you have posted. I do have the Rebel XT and I love it.

To a large degree, the higher MP aspect only allows you to take a larger picture so you can crop and still maintain good picture quality. Most people don't even shoot at the max b/c the files are too big and quickly consume most memory cards. What matters is that Canon makes quality cameras irregardless of the MP capability. HTH.

I just bought a Rebel XT also. It was supposed to be delivered today but I wasnt home to sign for it. Getting it resent to work tomorrow. Cant wait!
