In order to free up some more room for the clown breeding, I've decided to find new homes for my CB H. Erectus breeding colony. All of these horses are siblings and have been in my possession since the day they were born (2/22/06). The smaller pair is about 5" total length and the larger two pairs are around 6". Primary food is enriched frozen Hikari mysis, although they will occasionally take other brands of mysis, enriched brine, or plankton. Colors are primarily yellow with white markings, although as shown in the pics below (taken late last year and a couple months ago), some occasionally turn rust / orange. These pairs (plus some that have been sold in the past) are breeding and have had multiple sets of babies / eggs.
Not to appear too choosy, but given the sensitive nature of these animals I'd prefer they go to an experienced aquarist or someone who will be able to give them the space / attention they need. They are pretty easy to take care of, but need to be kept relatively cool (low / mid 70s is best) and fed regularly. They do not need a large tank, and currently reside happily in a 12-15 gallon space.
Price is $80 per pair, or $200 for all three pairs ... local sale only (no shipping). If thinking of getting these for breeding purposes, the babies can reach market size in about 6 months and get upwards of $10 - $20 each through LFS as there's a good demand for CB horses that are trained to take frozen food.
If interested or for questions, please PM directly.
