Did you get out of the oc? I always want to get frags from you but the drive to oc was too hard to make it out there.
I have an extra homewrecker frag. Wanna make an even trade?

Hey! I'm out in Monterey Park near LA now.

I'm mainly looking for cash right now. Trying to recover my losses from RAP FL.

I heard that too. I usually pack my corals like I would for shipping and then check-in the box on my flight.

In my stupidity, I added a heat pack to the box even though it was like 90 deg weather in FL.

Long story short I made coral soup.

Oh well.. sometimes we make mistakes. No clue what I was thinking putting a heat pack in that box. I ship corals all the time and I know if its hot, I don't put a heat pack or sometimes I even put an ice pack on really hot days. Guess I just had a brain fart that day :headwally:

It's kinda crazy how I just say "Oh well" likes it's nothing.
It really puts into perspective how much this hobby desensitizes us to money.
I am not rich. $1000+ is a lot of money. If I smashed a newly bought $1000 TV on the ground I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be saying "Oh well"

But we take part in this hobby where each piece of coral is $50-500 and I guess I'm just used to spending way more than I really should be lol.

I was just talking to my friend today about losing $1000 nems like it's nothing. Oh well just go buy another.
