Aquachill 1/2hp in-line chiller. Rated for tanks up to 250g. Got this as part of a two-fer on a "tearing down my tanks" situation. Used 1-1/2 seasons. Currently chilling our 75g and doing a fine job, but don't need two units. See it in action! The only disclaimer: I'm keeping the one that is slighty more quiet of the two.

Retails new for $1,100 and up. Listed this unit on craigslist for $675 but tiring of crazy offers ("Can I give you $20 now and make payments?"). Not desperate, so rock bottom I need cash to move me to sell it. I'll sell to one of us for $600 firm. Horse-tradin' kickers would definitely sweeten the deal.

Plain English: I have a one half horsepower chiller for sale for six hundred bucks. That is a rippin' deal.

i've "tank sat" for kevin twice. first without a chiller, second with this chiller hooked up. second time was a charm because the chiller eliminated the temperature concerns.

to see this chiller; you'd think it just came out of the box. looks great; works great. smoking deal!

This heat wave is rough... If you're a regular around here and hurtin' for heat relief -- Let me know. I might be able to work a deal. I'd hate to see someone's tank suffer.

And we'd hate to see your pocketbook suffer.

You think this is too much for a 120g? I don't want it power cycling on and off too much...

I also heard its pretty tough to buy a used chiller.... What do you guys think?

It's currently chilling my 75g. Manufacturer rates it up to 250g. Cycling would occur if you bought an underpowered chiller for your tank (ex: chiller rated at 55g trying to cool a 240g tank). This is plenty for a 120g.

What do you mean by "tough to buy"? I'll make it real easy.
