FS: Cirrhilabrus katoi, male

evolved

Wrasse Nut
For sale, a male Cirrhilabrus katoi, about 4". Yes, I need a picture, but don't have one at the moment; sorry.

$150

He's been in my system for ~3 months now, but he's simply too aggressive with the other wrasses. He was QT'd for 6 weeks prior to entering my system, and was treated with prazi. Fat and healthy now, just with a bit of an attitude, but perfect for anyone who has some semi-aggressive tank inhabitants.

He's in an acclimation box in my system now; I can bag him up quickly. I can bring him to PROP this Saturday.

Here's just a representative photo, to give you an idea:

Actual photos of my fish. The acclimation box has gotten a bit dirty, so the clarity here is a bit down; sorry.

I'm interested but blew most of my money at the auction. If he is a bully I'm not sure how it would fit in. I have a Lineatus, Flame and an Orange Back.

My Lineatus is a dick, I'm curious if it will still be an *** after the flame is out of QT. I say it because I am pretty sure it has started its transition but my Flame is the biggest female I have ever seen but it too is transitioning. I was hoping to talk to you at the prop auction but I ended up helping out and you left before I could talk to you about this wrasse.

Sorry I missed you.

Well, it's not uncommon for female lineatus to be pretty aggressive. As it transitions to male, there's a good chance it will mellow out. The flame and the lineatus being together should help facilitate them both to transition faster.

It's cool, that pink lemonade frag is settling in and happy. Is there a timeline for when you want to get rid of the wrasse?

Good to hear! I've had that coral ~4 years.

Considering he's been in the box about 3 weeks now, within the next week.
