FS: CO2 Tank 10 lb
I don't have room for this equipment. Tank comes with a Pressure Regulator guage, solenoid, which I have not tested.
$80 or OBO

calcium reactor

calcium reactor

People use it for calcium reactor. When the CO2 mixes with water it forms carbonic acid which reduces the pH of the water, and usually they maintain a pH around 6.3 (approx.) inside the Ca reactor. The low pH Conditions dissolves the calcium carbonate in the calcium media releasing carbonate ions and calcium ions and the target is to maintain 400 ppm (approx.) of Ca ions in the water for ideal coral growth. Hope this explains.

Also, there could be more uses for the CO2 Tank in reef/saltwater setups. Some suffer from high pH, and it may be somewhat hard to reduce the pH for the some, and releasing CO2 into water with a diffuser in the water could safely lower the pH to a desired level of 8.3.

I'm sure there are more uses of it in reefing.

Thanks for the info. I have a large co2 tank left over from my keg party days. It's been collecting dust for quite some time. It just may come in useful again down the road.
