FS: Dual MH/T5 Reef Lighting System

Unarce

Unshackled
Hi everyone,

I decided not to set up another system and no longer need this unit, which is a year old. The online cost for a new fixture with these specs would be:

$672 = for the standard fixture
$150 = for the upgraded IceCap e-ballast
$24 = for the Riser Brackets
$41.93 = for shipping to California

Total = $887.93

Specs:

*Fixture comes with two (2) 175W 10K AB Single Ended Metal Halide (MH) bulbs and two (2) 39W T5 High Output (HO) fluorescent actinic blue bulbs (bulbs are only one month old).
*Dual (Dual ball bearing) Fans.
*High polish full length aluminum reflector.
*Upgraded IceCap Remote e-ballast box with quick disconnect.
*Individual illuminated switches for Metal Halide and T5 supplements.
*UV protected splash shield.
*Riser Brackets
*36" long, 8.5" wide, and 5.5" high

I'd like to sell locally for $500 obo:) This is the perfect combo for those Iwasaki 175W 15K PAR monster bulbs!

What is being driven by the ice cap, the MH or the T5? Are the T5s overdriven?

I'm local in Elk Grove, any chance you can demo it on my tank for 10 minutes? I have a dual 175watt and PC retrofit fixture, but I'm interested in going T5 instead.

The MH is driven by IceCap e-ballasts. I'm not sure about the T5s, but I can check with Aquactinics.

PM sent.

Not looking for anything in particular. If it were something reef-related, I'd be interested in a pure blue squamosa.

I'm open to non-reef stuff at this point, too.
