250 Calcium Reactor with no tank
200 Phosban Reactor tube

I can take pictures upon request of what I have sitting the way it is.

I don't know how to use there or what parts they are supposed to have.

Thanks

Jen, do a little reading on them. the calcium reactor can be a bit to get working but can do wonders for growing coral. you do need more than it jsut to make it work. you need co2 tank, a dosing pump, PH controller etc...

the phosban reactor is a bit more simple. from my meager knowledge, it is more jsut hook it into your system and run water thru it. If I were you, I would hang on to that one if you ever plan to run carbon in your tank. adn btw, they are about $60 online for the phosban 150.

then again, I may be wrong. I am going to be hooking up a Calc reactor, and building my own carbon reactor.

post a photo of them. that will help you move them quickly if you want to dump them.

I think I have all those parts, I just don't even know what they look like. I have a box things that digitally reads something. I don't know if they are really worth a whole lot......but it's just sitting around in my way.

NIce.. Never seen that type of Calc reactor, but that is interesting.... did it come with a large metal bottle? you will need one of those. also, a PH monitor and probe? those are necesary too but you can use that jsut to monitor your tank too..

No I did not get a CO2 tank...I do have the regulator with the dial thingys......sorry I am such a toady, but I just got alot of "stuff"

I would hang on to that phosban reactor as it is handy if you plan to run carbon.

Nice fuge btw... how long is that?

Jennifer, I got the same with my tank. I did get the bottle though.

Here is that brand. you can click for the price.. they sell for $350 brand new.

I have always been old school and dont know a ton about the newer gadgets lke the Ca reactors. I plan on using mine as I have seen the results they can create. I also got a Phosban reactor too, but havent put it into service yet either.

I think It's an old Marine Technologies Concept (MTC) It Is a Ca Reactor, It Is an older model that uses small grain media and It's very easy to melt the media and turn It to mush and Do major harm to your tank. It does have a great pump (Eheim) and If nothing else pull the pump and use it. As reactors go the newer ones are pretty cheap, Use large media and are reverse flow, Not recommended for beginners as they are easy to do as much harm as good if your not familiar with their operation. Bill.. those were teh words I was looking for but could not get to my fingers....

Jennifer, no, i dont want it. im using one of hte bins I have in teh sump for a fuge. got my chaeto ball just a spinning in there! plus I just sold a smaller bakpak just like that.

If I had my old 75, I would have snagged that. those can be good fuges for that size tank.

Well I am wanting to buy some more supplements, a pink and white coco worm, 1-2 brittle stars, a couple peppermint shrimp, a sally lightfoot crab, and maybe some kind of jawfish or blenny of some sort.........just kicking around some ideas

I don't necessarily have to buy all those things at once....it's just I have these things I ain't gonna use and if somebody can help me out......I could help them too.The phosban thingy I researched and I would take 10-15 bucks for since they are new 40. The calcium reactor I can't find much to research it; I just want it gone

Like I said the Pump Is a good one, Take it off the reactor and use It as a return Pump or save It as a spare. The reactor will make a good paper weight, Or convert it into a lamp as it's pretty dated. JMO
