I have two Anemone Shrimp that look like this:

One is small, the other one is really big and pregnant!

I got them for $12 each, plus shipping, from LiveAquaria. They'll eat mysis and brine, even flake.

They hang out in my zoos and xenia, they don't eat any corals.

$20 for both pickup in Berkeley, CA

They're pretty small, one's about 1", the other is 1.5".

Also up for trades for two small frags of any super nice zoanthid ;)

i'm not sure. I've never kept them together. Though cleanershrimp seem pretty docile and only scavange, instead of eating live animals.

Update
I so far have a lot of maybes. I'm in Berkeley, and someone asked how far into Berkeley? I'm about 2 minutes at most off of Highway 80. IN FACT it takes me 15 minutes to get to downtown san francisco using fasttrack and with no traffic and driving under 70mph.

I know some places in berkeley can take 15 - 30 minutes to get to off of the highway, but that's because University Ave. and Ashby are terrible sometimes in terms of traffic.

Other than that, I will be heading into san francisco tomorrow night, but mostly just for the nightlife. I could always meetup somewhere. On Saturday I will be doing a photoshoot in/near the Financial District of San Francisco, so if you're able to come out to meet me there, that would be cool too =)

They're pretty cool shrimp =)

I also have:

Green Ricordia Florida with 2 mouths
Nice baseball sized GSP rock
Pulsing Xenia
Red Tonga Mushrooms
And a micromussa "stardust" that needs rescuing
Small cloves with orange branches, green centers. (about 3 polyps on a frag).

If I'm in the city, I can't do trades since I'll be out most of the day and unable to go home to acclimate into my tank. But if you come to Berkeley a straight trade would be cool for any neat zoanthid.

Those are a Urocaridella sp. shrimp. Not technically 'anemone' shrimp like a Periclemenes sp. They'll hover above the substrate, and they do a little wavey dance with their claws to advertise that they are cleaners. Much hardier and nicer behavior than a true anemone shrimp IMO. :D

oh! thanks for the clarification! yeah they jump on my hand when I put them in the water, similar to my skunk cleaner.

I've kept them with harlequin shrimp before, but not cleaners. I think they'd be okay if the cleaners were small when introduced. These shrimp are only about 1.5" long full grown. They can be kept in groups too, and they'll mate at the drop of a hat!

harlequin should be safe with anything other than sea stars though =)

I have a buyer coming Sunday, if that falls through I'll let everyone know.

I hope the female doesn't drop the eggs yet =) If she does, my tank is going to have a party =P

Anyone ever raise these? I heard they have super long planktonic stages which are almost impossible to raise.

The shrimp have been sold, will be picked up next week. With more research I think they might actually still be anemone shrimp:

these are called sun anemone shrimp: Periclimenes rathbunae
