Hi:

Have the following items for local pickup from a tank teardown last year (tank sprung a leak). All items in working order, some barely used. All last used when tank torn down.

Hamilton Belize Sun 24" 150w HQI + T5s.

Complete in original box. Used for 1 yr. Working perfectly. Includes all original parts, plus new Hamilton 14k 150w HQI used less than a week and never used brand new in box Giesemann Powerchrome T5s (Pure Actinic & Actinic+) purchased from Your Reef. Magnetic ballast (M81). I believe this fixture size is discontinued.

Here's some info about the fixture:

•150W bulb (and ballast); 14K HQI metal halide lamps
•Two 24 watt T5 High Output bulbs
•Two Blue LED lights for night time viewing
•Low profile compact European design -- power coated black finish
•Superior craftsmanship - extruded aluminum rust-proof housing
•Light visors direct light downward toward tank – prevents side light loss & shields bright lights from eyes
•Ballasts: individual, remote ballasts for both the metal halide and T5 lamps
•Separate power cords for automation of lighting cycles when using timers.
•Maximum cooling – dual ball bearing fan keeps air circulating around lamps for maximum ventilation
•Light enhancing durable German anodized aluminum reflectors engineered to intensify light output
•Docking legs & suspension kit – Mount to aquarium with support brackets or hang above aquarium with adjustable cable system
•Built to order by Hamilton craftsman right here in the USA

Dimensions: 24.4" X 13.75" X 4.75"

Asking: $300 (new/used HQI & T5s alone are worth $100+)

Next up is a Tunze Doc Skimmer 9010.

This is in perfect condition, complete and in box. Used maybe a month, as it broke in. Skimming great right before tank failed. Believe this too is discontinued. Includes the Skimmer Extension 9005 - elbow reduced to fit in small sump.

Asking $200 (I know it's discontinued, but it basically new and worked great)

Tunze Osomalator 3155 (ATO):

This items is unused in box - used for one night. I set up unit, which worked perfectly. Next morning discovered that tank was leaking! Completely unrelated events, except ATO kept tank full as water was slowly seeping out!

Asking $180 since it's basically unused

Ecotech Vortech MP10es:

Another almost new item. Worked perfectly for the three months it was in the tank.

Asking $210

That's it for now. Thanks for looking. Offers accepted.

Where are you located? Is that skimmer good for a 93 gallon cube?

It ran on a 39g CAD, but it's rated much higher. Not far from Sac State. Here's the 9010 specs:

Specifications:

"¢Recommended for marine aquariums up to 1,000 liters (264 gallons)
"¢Dimensions: 4.9"L x 4.4"W x 16.8"H
"¢Water throughput: 1,200 l/h (317 gal./h)
"¢Air capacity: 650 l/h (171gal./h)
"¢Skimmer cup volume: .7 l (.18 US gal.). Equipped with the accessories for internal and aquarium cabinet operation.

I just realilzed I posted the wrong info for the Tunze Skimmer. It's not the discontinued 9010, instead it's the current smaller 9006. Sorry for the confusion. Here's the 9006 specs:

  • Recommended for aquariums up to 600 litres (1584 US gal.) of salt water.
  • Dimensions: L125 x W113 x H378 mm (L4.9 x W4.4 x H14.8 in.)
  • 115V/60Hz:12 W
  • Water throughput: 850 l/h (224 US gal./h)
  • Air capacity: 500 l/h (132 US gal./h)
  • Skimmer cup volume: .4l (.10 US gal.)
  • Magnet holder up to a glass thickness of 12 mm (.47 in.)
  • For operation in an aquarium cabinet (in-sump), use DOC Skimmer Extension Set 9005.40 sold separately.

That's 158.5 gallons not thousand fivehundred.

You are correct - that would be one large skimmer! Can't win on the Skimmer listing! I quickly copied specs from Marine Depot, when I realized my original mistake - they have a typo. Let's try again, here's the correct specs:

  • Recommended for aquariums up to 600 litres (158.4 US gal.) of salt water.
  • Dimensions: L125 x W113 x H378 mm (L4.9 x W4.4 x H14.8 in.)

Just wanted to make sure. If I had the money I would take it, even if It couldn't skim a small swimming pool.
