Due to the fact im not as devoted to the fish tanks i have as i used to be, and that i am going to be moving soon, i have decided to put up my 24 gallon Aqua Pod up for sale. The big loss of my interest in this tank happened after both my clown fish died within hours of doing a water change with RO water. no idea what happened but they were both dead 3-4 hours later, however there is a green clown goby still in there. The tank is the 24 gallon, has a 10K and a 03 Actinic 32w PC hood, one of the LED night lights stopped working, not sure why though. The pump was replaced last year when the factory one failed, with a The Quiet One, i still have the box for it, think it was 300 gph. It has a sand bed, couple of nasurus snails rooming thru, two little mushroom, and prolley 15 pounds of live rock. The stand is a nice looking homemade one by me. its plenty over kill, so dont think it will be an issue.
The bad part of the tank though is algea. I think there is an access build up of something in the water since its been having an algea problem for the past several months and because i hadnt been around always to clean it, it got alittle out of hand. the last WC i did with RO ( i was using tap ) seemed to tame it down a ton. I have some RO left that i planned to change out tonight. So if you know what you are doing, the algea shouldnt be a problem to you.
I can post pictures later tonight if there is any interest. the bulbs are under a year old, 3 months maybe. Im going to start out asking 240 for it as it sits. i can even include all the saltwater supplies and stuff i have left with it. There is a hydrometer, big tub of food, prolley some salt, and i have some chemicals, not sure if they are good but i have em ( take those if you want em )
