Hi, I'm selling my JBJ Biocube 28G tank setup as I recently upgraded to a larger setup. This is the 89 watt LED PRO/ADVANCED model. Tank is broken down and ready to go. It does have some scratches on the glass and is not perfect. Could probably be buffed out if up to the task....

What's included:
-JBJ 28G Biocube Tank
-JBJ PRO LED HOOD w/ upgraded ballast unit
-JBJ Biocube Stand
-JBJ Skimmer/Pump & 2 brand new airstones
-InTank Media Basket
-2 return pumps for each side
-Hydora Koralea Nano pump
-100w Heater (probably needs replacing soon)
-I also have around 20 pounds of fiji live rock that I will throw in for free (this is sitting in a rubbermaid tub and dying off, so tank will need to be re-cycled)

Asking Price: $350 OBO

Location: West LA

Unfortunately, you cannot buff out scratches on a biocube, they are made out of glass.

I have done it before using Cerium Oxide and my car polisher with a pad on it. It absolutely works.

The tank has scratches but they are hardly noticeable when filled with water.

But you can replace the scratched piece of glass, which might still be cost effective.

It actually wouldn't be necessary unless you wanted it to look completely perfect. It is a used aquarium and has standard wear and tear after a few years. I am very anal and wanted to fully disclose how it looked.

If I uploaded pictures they wouldn't even be able to show the scratches on the tank, but I am not going to claim it is in perfect or new condition.

What? You do realize the biocube is only made up of three panes of glass; one large curved glass pane which makes up the front and sides, the bottom pane and the back pane. How would you replace the front curved glass panel? I don't think jbj even sells a replacement.

I've read about it, but the results are less then stellar.

Again, not trying to knock your sale. I think $350 is a great deal for the LED biocube set up.

I don't believe they do either. Regardless, this tank glass isn't anywhere near needing replacing. I was just pointing out that there are scratches on the glass and it isn't brand new.

Thanks. Bump.
